Overview
Scotfab contacted RS Machinery in April 2015 with a requirement for a plate rolling machine after winning contracts to design, manufacture and deliver powder silos and 1000 bbl mud storage tanks.
Challenge
Scotfab required a solution that would enable them to plate roll in-house. Having previously outsourced this to various manufacturers across the UK, Scotfab decided to invest in their own solution to help keep costs down and to enhance their service offering to local fabricators in and around the Aberdeen area and further a field.
Solution
Due to the ongoing relationship between Scotfab and RS Machinery, Scotfab came direct to us find a solution. After discussing Scotfab’s requirements and criteria for their desired solution, we provided them with a Morgan Rushworth DPBH-4 3100/350 hydraulic 4 roll plate bending rolls machine.
